AerCap House, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin
Architect: Powerhouse Company | Contractor: specialist Joinery Group | Location: Dublin
As the installation team on the prestigious AerCap House project, we were proud to play a key role in bringing a sophisticated and architecturally ambitious vision to life. Located on the corner of St Stephen’s Green in the heart of Dublin’s commercial district, this landmark building serves as the headquarters for AerCap, global leaders in aviation leasing.
Working alongside Specialist Joinery Group and principal contractor MAC Group, we installed a wide range of premium finishes throughout the building. The fit-out featured Kilkenny Limestone, a native Irish material known for its enduring beauty, which we installed to clad key architectural elements—providing a timeless and elegant finish.
Other integrated finishes included American walnut, smoked oak veneer, granite, butter-toned leather upholstery, and stainless steel, all of which required precise coordination and expert workmanship to ensure a seamless, high-end result. Our team also fitted bespoke coloured laminated glass splashbacks—supplied by Specialist Glass—into the joinery elements, adding a sleek and contemporary touch.
One of the most challenging and rewarding aspects of this project was the installation of the central feature staircase. Designed by Powerhouse Company, the staircase was intended to resemble a single, spiralling piece of sculpted timber flowing from the fifth floor to the ground—both a structural centrepiece and a piece of architectural art.
We worked closely with the architect and main contractor throughout this process, from the coordination and delivery of the structure to the meticulous hand-veneering on site. Each piece of veneer was book-matched and hand-cut to enhance the natural colour variations and grain patterns, with particular attention paid to the complex geometry on the underside of the staircase. This area combined radial curves with sharp interlinked angles—demanding both technical expertise and patience to achieve the flawless finish.
The final application of finishes was the most intricate stage, revealing the rich tones and depth of the natural wood, and fulfilling the architect’s vision for a sculptural, organic staircase that is as much a work of art as it is a functional element.
