GRANT THORNTON, City Quay, Dublin

Architects: Henry J Lyons (CAT A) & MCA (CAT B) | Contractor: Specialist Joinery Group | Completion: 2018

We were proud to deliver a full package of bespoke joinery, glass, and metal installations for the Grant Thornton offices in Dublin—spanning both CAT A and CAT B fit-outs across seven floors.

Our joinery scope included high-end finishes such as vanity units, locker plinths, cloak areas, booth seating, micro kitchens, barista bars, bespoke desks, meeting room portals, and fire extinguisher panels—all tailored to meet the architect’s vision and the client’s functional needs.

We also installed striking glass features, including washroom elements made from toughened and laminated back-painted safety glass with stainless steel ironmongery. Low-iron mirrors above vanities provided bright, true reflections—adding a touch of luxury to the space. Custom glass seating dividers were created using laminated Minster glass with coloured vinyl interlayers for a subtle yet refined visual separation.

Our metalwork included precision powder-coated aluminium box frames, cut to exact specifications to house the bespoke glass elements seamlessly.

Every detail of this project was customised to reflect the architectural and interior design vision, resulting in a refined, contemporary workspace for one of Dublin’s leading firms.
